O  Examples of test configuration usagep. 200

O.1  Example of NAA data related to a test configuration criterionmp. 200

The following example shows typical NAA data or conditions that can be used in a test configuration criterion of the test configuration criterion type 3GPP.
NAA data description NAA data
Network authentication key00112233445566778899AABBCCDDEEFF
Network authentication algorithmXOR
MCC/MNC of the test IMSI001/01, 246/081, etc.

O.2  Implementation examples for activating the test configuration statep. 200

EXAMPLE 1:
This example considers a UICC supporting test toolkit events capability and the first level application is an NAA. The test configuration criterion are the credentials used for network access and authentication. The criterion is defined in the NAA specific extension of the UICC platform, e.g. TS 31.102. The credentials used for this purpose are defined in the NAA (e.g. USIM) test specifications. The UICC maintains these credentials as the supported test configuration criterion within the UICC.
A proprietary secure method/command is defined for the terminal manufacturer to activate the test configuration state.
When attempting to activate the test configuration state, UICC evaluates if the credentials in the NAA match with the credentials saved as the supported test configuration criterion in the UICC, and if a match is found test configuration state is activated. Otherwise, the test configuration state is unchanged and remains inactive. The test system can read the test configuration state using the procedure defined in clause N.2.2.
EXAMPLE 2:
This example considers the device APDU monitoring functionality for test purposes. The test configuration criterion is the credentials used for network access and authentication. The criterion is defined in the NAA specific extension of the UICC platform e.g. TS 31.102. The credential used for this purpose is defined in the NAA (e.g. USIM) test specifications. The UICC maintains this credential as the supported test configuration criterion for the test configuration state within the UICC.
