For the purposes of the present document, the terms given in
TR 21.905 and the following apply. A term defined in the present document takes precedence over the definition of the same term, if any, in
TR 21.905.
Measurement angle:
the angle of measurement of the desired metric from the view point of the UE, as described in
Annex B.
RX beam peak direction:
direction where the maximum total component of RSRP and thus best total component of EIS is found.
TX beam peak direction:
direction where the maximum total component of EIRP is found.
For the purposes of the present document, the following symbols apply:
θ
Zenith angle in the spherical co-ordinate system, as well as measurement antenna polarization along the direction of motion of the zenith axis rotation.
φ
Azimuth angle in the spherical co-ordinate system, as well as measurement antenna polarization along the direction of motion of the azimuth axis rotation.
For the purposes of the present document, the abbreviations given in
TR 21.905 and the following apply. An abbreviation defined in the present document takes precedence over the definition of the same abbreviation, if any, in
TR 21.905.
