The purpose of these work items is to provide UMTS specification support for UTRA/FDD in the new band allocation on 1710-1770 MHz UL and 2110-2170 MHz DL band pairing in ITU region 2. In addition to the schedule and status of the work item, the report includes a description of the motivation of requirements and specification recommendations.
