The present document is a technical report which identifies the enhancements to the application architecture to support V2X services specified in TS 23.286 considering advanced V2X services like V2P, ToD, etc and edge computing deployments for V2X services.
The study takes into consideration the existing stage 1 and stage 2 work within 3GPP related to advanced V2X services and edge computing in TS 22.185, TS 22.186, TS 23.285, TS 23.287, TS 23.548 and TS 23.558.
The study also takes into consideration the V2X application specific services and recommendations specified by automotive industry bodies (5GAA, ETSI ITS and AECC) related to advanced V2X services for VRU, Haptics/ToD and edge deployments for V2X services.
This document will provide recommendations for normative work.
